This website is operated by Auric. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Auric. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing a leather product from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).
2. Online Store & Eligibility
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence. You may not use our premium leather goods for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
3. Product Accuracy & Natural Variations
We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our leather bags and accessories. However:
- Natural Character: Authenticity is our core promise. Because we use genuine leathers—including Natural Dry Milled (NDM), Nappa, Oil Pull-Up, and Crunch leather—slight variations in grain, texture, creases, and shading are natural characteristics of the material and are not considered manufacturing faults.
- Handcarved Goods:Â Our unique buffalo leather bags and wallets are intricately handcarved by skilled artisans in India. Because these are handmade, no two pieces are entirely identical. Minor variations in the tooling layout are a signature of true craftsmanship.
4. Accuracy of Pricing & Billing
- Price Changes:Â Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
- Order Refusal:Â We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us. This may happen if there is an error in pricing, stock availability, or a suspected fraudulent transaction. If we change or cancel an order, we will notify you immediately via the email address (sales@auricleather.co.uk) provided at checkout.
- Payment Processing:Â All payments are processed securely through Shopify's authenticated payment gateway.
5. Delivery Conditions & Postcode Surcharges
Your contract of sale includes the delivery terms outlined in our separate Shipping Policy:
- UK Mainland:Â Free Standard Tracked delivery applies strictly to UK Mainland orders priced at ÂŁ35 and over. Orders under ÂŁ35 incur a flat ÂŁ2.95 delivery fee.
- Off-Mainland Postcodes:Â Due to courier pricing, locations outside the UK Mainland (including Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and Scilly Isles) are subject to automated postcode-based location fees at checkout and do not qualify for free shipping.
6. UK Consumer Rights & Returns
In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase and return your item within 14 days of receiving it.
- Condition:Â Items must be completely unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging (including dust bags and hardware wrapping).
- Exemptions:Â Due to hygiene rules, leather hair bands cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive physically faulty.
- Return Costs:Â The customer is fully responsible for paying return shipping costs for "change of mind" returns. We highly recommend utilizing a tracked service, as we cannot issue refunds for items lost in transit.
7. Limitation of Liability
Auric does not guarantee that your use of our service will be completely uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Auric shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct or indirect damages of any kind arising from your use of any of our products.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
